Tighineanu thanked Prof. Peter Gluckman for his contribution to the success of the International Conference "European Platform for Peace", organized on May 24th by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova: "It was a very good experience for us. We invited many well-known experts, including Nobel Laureates, and there were many valuable suggestions. In conclusion I will note that it is very important for the International Science Council to make the Global Voice of Science stronger and stronger. In our century of disinformation, with lots of technologies to manipulate people's opinion, I believe that only science can give adequate answers to many, many questions and actually come up with solutions to the challenges of our century. I would like to thank Professor Gluckman, as well as his team at the International Science Council, for all the efforts undertaken and of course we should accelerate our actions because we are in the 21st century and we have a lot of challenges", pointed out the president of AȘM.
Prof. Peter Gluckman thanked Acad. Ion Tighineanu for the invitation to participate in the International Conference "European Platform for Peace". "I am sorry that I couldn't come to Moldova and had to participate online in the conference," said the president of the International Science Council. “I think in the comments, beyond the very nice thoughts you have put forth, you highlight the urgency. The International Science Council must realize the moment: science is more important than ever. We do not have time to wait. Science should be at the forefront, but not at the edge of the table. And this is what the Board agreed at its meeting in May: the main objective of the International Scientific Council is to make the Voice of Science a strong one on a global scale", pointed out Professor Peter Gluckman, further referring to some aspects regarding the cooperation of the International Scientific Council with its members – more than 200 international unions and associations, as well as national and regional scientific organizations, including academies and research councils.
