Between June 22–26, 2026, the Summer School "The Path to Scientific Discoveries" will be held at the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. The aim of this event is to promote scientific research and demonstrate the impact of science and innovations on daily life and social well-being among students and undergraduates passionate about science and technology.
The Summer School program includes lectures in various fields such as medicine, engineering, artificial intelligence, economic sciences, as well as legal sciences. Among the speakers are acad. Marius Andruh, President of the Romanian Academy; acad. Ioan-Aurel Pop, President of the Romanian Academic Council (CAR); Prof. Bogdan Ciucă, President of the Romanian Academy of Legal Sciences; Prof. Kornelius Nielsch, IFW Dresden, Germany; Prof. Emanuel Flahaut, CNRS, France; acad. Isaac Bersuker, University of Texas, USA; Prof. Grigore Tinică, Iași, Romania; Jeffrey N. Williams, NASA astronaut, along with other internationally renowned experts.
The lectures will be delivered in Romanian and English. Although the event will take place in a hybrid format, the number of physical presence spots is limited, and participants will be selected based on their English proficiency and motivation stated in the registration form. Interested individuals are invited to complete the online form by June 10, 2026.
This event represents an excellent opportunity for active, creative students eager to gain new knowledge, offering them the chance to embark on an engaging journey into the world of science. Interaction with researchers from different fields and with peers from various educational institutions will help participants to gain a deeper understanding of both the concepts and mysteries of science, constituting an important step towards an informed choice of a future research career.

The Summer School is organized by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova in cooperation with the Romanian Academy and the Romanian Academic Council, the Technical University of Moldova, the "Nicolae Testemițanu" State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the "Alecu Russo" State University of Bălți, A.O. InfoGroup, and the Moldova Young Academy.
