On behalf of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and of the scientific community of Moldova, I would like to congratulate you with the re-election by the EASA General Assembly for a further term of office as President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, and to wish you much success in the implementation of your impressive program of activity. Sincere congratulations to your colleagues Prof. Dr. Kristin de TROYER, Prof. Dr. Ioannis LIRITZIS and Prof. Dr. Verica TRSTENJAK, notorious experts in their fields, for being elected as Vice-Presidents of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.

We highly appreciate your visit to the Republic of Moldova in December 2024, meetings with researchers, people of culture and decision-makers, your unforgettable public lecture on artificial intelligence as well as the interview given to the journalist Eugenia TOFAN, in which you mentioned that “In the age of artificial intelligence, it is not the size of a country that matters, but the innovative power and creativity of its people”.

The collaboration between the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and the European Academy of Sciences and Arts has intensified on several dimensions over the last years, and I hope that it will be further strengthened for the benefit of peace and sustainable development at the national and international levels.
